I am not vegeterian and for sure I am not vegan. I used to be for some time but my passion for food and exploring different dishes from around the world didn't go along with several restrictions I had to face. I eat meat - accept pork - I shop mostly organic and outside my kitchen I eat only in selected places where I know the chefs use fresh ingredients and support local farms.



My recent discovery that lead to my addiction is raw bakery at Integral. They carry a lot of raw cakes, all natural, all organic and all vegan. There are two that make the top of my list...both Miss Lillian's. Her famous Carob Torte and Blueberry Cheesecake are the absolute must have...fruity,smooth, velvety texture, and crunchy nuts complement the all natural flavours without additional sugars. They feel so good in your tummy that you want to experience the pleasure over and over again. The best part is that if you didn't know they are raw and vegan you would never guess, so for the next party serve a slice and look at the faces around the table...it is a delicious and healthy dessert ...and a great introduction to become or appreciate all raw and vegan diet.
