Sylwia lives by the credo “your body, your life”. Energize your body with exercise and satisfy yourself with great food, and you will feel fabulous. Sylwia believes the key to a fulfilling life is using and nourishing your body—never depriving it.
“Your body, your life” began with a childhood love of gymnastics and dance in Poland. Later, Sylwia’s personal philosophy became more deeply embedded as she lived and trained all over the world. While studying in Australia and Italy, and working in England and the U.S., she worked with top trainers on techniques that combined gymnastic movements, strength training and balance work. Sylwia is certified PT with a special focus on women. Her goal is to make evry woman feel fit, firm and confident.
When Sylwia moved to New York, she began to fulfill her dream of helping others get in shape and live healthier, but then she had a bigger mission to face…two pregnancies. No longer single, and with less free time to work out, the fear and panic set in. The anxiety of gaining weight over nine months and losing skin elasticity made her re-think her workout routine. She also knew that the added responsibilities of children would make staying disciplined and focused far more challenging. These concerns motivated Sylwia to design a new and innovative method that worked miracles for her legs, glutes and abs, maintain her cardiovascular conditioning and her balance in place.
Sylwia began her method three times a week, and proved that even during pregnancy she could keep her body lean, her muscles toned and maintain her cardio fitness. After giving birth, she jumped right back into working out the same routine, but with greater intensity. She also joined Seido karate school, to live her lifetime dream and passion for martial arts.
After her two pregnancies, her physique stayed firm and fit and she was able to bounce back quickly and integrate her method into her increasingly demanding life. She became an inspiration for other women and men with whom she began sharing her passion for movement. It has been over three years since Sylwia began teaching her Tonique method, and she feels fulfilled seeing how she has helped her followers make fitness a part of their daily lives, and to feel fabulous and confident. Sylwia is proud of every person she has reached- each made an effort and achieved results. She has been their inspiration to live healthier, and now wants to share the Tonique method with you on Exercise TV.
